AFTER DARK: Luka MacInnes-Cann Quartet Featuring Maxwell Holmes, Nathan Lintott & Jack Colbourne

Vancouver tenor saxophonist Luka MacInnes-Cann returns home after pursuing his Bachelor’s degree at McGill University, where he is studying under acclaimed saxophonist Rémi Bolduc. A familiar face on the local scene, Luka has performed at venues around Vancouver and is quickly emerging as a compelling young voice in jazz.

Deeply influenced by legends such as Sonny Rollins, Joe Henderson, John Coltrane, and Johnny Griffin, Luka brings fresh energy and personal expression to a selection of his favourite jazz standards.

Excited to be back in Vancouver, he’ll be joined by an outstanding band featuring additional familiar musicians – Maxwell Holmes, Jack Colbourne, and Nathan Lintott—for an evening of dynamic, inspired music at Frankie’s Jazz Club.
