AFTER DARK: Rick Son Trio Featuring Piyotr Kao and Jordy McIntosh

Pianist and composer Rick Son is bringing his frequent collaborators to the night of his originals, including some of his new releases, “Birdwatch” and “Gradient.” Studying with New England luminaries such as Danilo Pérez and Kevin Harris, he will be performing sounds that are inspired by the Black American music tradition and its adjacents. Rick will be joined by Piyotr Kao on upright bass and Jordy McIntosh on drums.
