AFTER DARK: Sadie Koshan Muppets Trio featuring Anthony Yuen & Erin Kim

While in high school, Sadie Koshan discovered her love for jazz drumming and ambition to pursue jazz performance as a lifelong career. Sadie is extremely grateful to be able to play at Frankie’s Jazz club, a goal she has had for many years! For this performance, Sadie is joined by two close friends and incredible players, Erin Kim (bass) and Anthony Yuen (piano), returning to Vancouver from their studies in Montreal and Boston, respectively. Together, they comprise the Muppets Trio, a hard-swinging and grooving group heavily inspired by the Oscar Peterson Trio, Ahmad Jamal Trio, and the Cedar Walton Trio.
