AFTER DARK: Teresa Marie Trio Featuring Wynston Minckler & Dean Thiessen

Teresa Marie is a Vancouver-based Jazz and R&B vocalist. Her warm and rich voice has captured audiences all over the city—typically performing creative arrangements and unique, soulful interpretations of music from the Great American Songbook and beyond. She takes inspiration from iconic vocalists from Soul and Jazz traditions such as Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, and Sarah Vaughan. Teresa has a particular love for ballads, and loves telling stories through meaningful lyrics. Joining her on stage are two of her longtime musical collaborators and friends: Wynston Minckler (bass) and Dean Thiessen (piano).
