Montreal based guitarist Matt Franceschini has an energetic and melodic style formed by careful listening and study of the tradition of Black American Music. Matt’s unique voice has seen him share the stage with musicians such as Oliver Gannon and Brad Turner. Julian Lage is one of the most prominent modern voices on the guitar today and Matt is very excited to lead an excellent trio featuring Wynston Minckler on bass and Todd Stewart on drums through a set of of Lage’s original compositions.
