ARDESHIR QUINTET

Young saxophonist Ardeshir Pourkeramati is one of Canada’s up and coming young musicians. Having studied with saxophone master Stan Karp, he is searching for his own voice through the influences of grand masters such as John Coltrane and Sonny Rollins. Ardeshir is currently a resident of Eugene Oregon, and is attending the jazz graduate program at University of Oregon. He will be joined by his year old quintet featuring long time friends and associates Juan David Encinales, Parker Woods, Stephen Edwards, and Roland Rácz, playing some of their newly written music.
