BILL RUNGE QUINTET

The music is groove-oriented, Latin and WorldBeat influenced with interesting melodies and exciting improvisations. Jazz with a‘post-Beatles’ sensibility.This quartet, patterned after the Jazz-Fusion group “Steps Ahead”features some of Canada’s finest jazz musicians performing original music from Bill’s 4 solo recordings and a variety of favourite tunes from the likes of Steps Ahead, Weather Report and Pat Metheny.
