Trumpeter, composer, and bandleader Feven Kidane is excited to bring her dynamic quintet to Frankie’s for the first time. Working within the traditions of post-bop and modern jazz, each tune selected and/or written weaves in collective storytelling with soul fire. This is music to invigorate, emotionalize, and ponder, and her lineup consists of Gordy Li on tenor sax, Cole Woodland on bass, Todd Stewart on drums and Quincy Mayes on piano.
