About the Artist(s)

The thermometer rises with each new experience of the MONTREAL JAZZLAB ORCHESTRA. With the brand new musical program, by double bassist-composer Alain Bédard, the group once again joins the artistic spirit of many evocative ideas of today’s modern jazz. The effervescence is great, carried unceasingly by amazing musicians who push as well the stake of the collective, as their own songs. The sequences follow one another marked by a kind of audacity, which carries the ensemble to the limits. Subsequently, the fads are explosive without return, conclusive, making the constraints flee far behind, in space and time.

The MONTREAL JAZZLAB ORCHESTRA, a multigenerational ensemble, will be composed of Mario Allard (ss, as, cl), Annie Dominique (ss, clb), Claire Devlin (ss, st, fl), Jacques Kuba Seguin (tp), Thomas Morelli-Bernard (tb), Félix Stussi (p), Alain Bédard (cb), Michel Lambert (drs)
