On the heels of his latest release MidCentury Modern Vol. 2, Gabriel and crew give the contemporary material for which Gabriel is largely known (with 10 Billboard hits), a backseat, focusing on material from his releases MidCentury Modern Vol. 1 + 2, and debuting material from the upcoming Vol. 3! This show will hone in on the expanded organ trio format that so influenced Gabriel in his younger years, which included Jimmy Smith, Groove Holmes, John Patton, and Lonnie Smith who recorded in this format with George Benson, Blue Mitchell, and Lee Morgan.
