JAELEM BHATE JAZZ ORCHESTRA

After a busy year of commissions with the Canadian National Jazz Orchestra, the Sister Jazz Orchestra, and the Michael Kim Big Band, composer and bandleader Jaelem Bhate returns to Frankie’s with his 17-member jazz orchestra, featuring some of the best instrumentalists in Vancouver. As one of Canada’s leading musical personalities in both jazz and classical spheres as an orchestral conductor, ‘29+1’ celebrates his new music and perspectives as the ensemble starts a new chapter.
