Jim Byrnes’ career has stretched over 50 years. He is a three time Juno Award winner and has won the Leo Award and Genie Award for his acting career but his first love remains his music. Blues, Doo-wop, and good old Country Soul. Accompanying him on keys is Simon Kendall, arranger, film composer perhaps best known for his days as musical director of Doug and The Slugs and his own band Sharkskin.
