MAX HUBERDEAU QUARTET

Max Huberdeau is a Vancouver-based jazz pianist, drummer and composer. He has performed extensively around western Canada with a variety of artists, including many of Vancouver’s finest jazz musicians. His playing and writing takes particular inspiration from soulful and lyrical pianists such as Keith Jarrett and Aaron Parks. He is excited to bring to Frankie’s a program of intriguing original compositions (some of which can be heard on an upcoming trio record) and canny arrangements of classic jazz repertoire. He is honored to be joined by a crack squadron of local talents: Joe Poole on drums, Andrew Skepasts on guitar, and Dan Howard on bass.
