MESSAGE RECEIVED

Julian MacDonough is a Bellingham based drummer who has also been part of the Vancouver jazz scene, working in the bands of Mike Allen and Cory Weeds over the past 20 years. His band “Message Received,” is a quintet made up of some great jazz talent from Bellingham Washington. The band performs weekly at Aslan Depot in Bellingham and in that, has developed a strong swinging sound with repertoire based in the Art Blakey songbook and style.  The band includes Thomas Harris on tenor sax, Isaac DeVange on trumpet, Blake Angelos on piano, Mark Hunter on bass, and Julian MacDonough on drums.
