MIMOSA

Mimosa presents an inspiring set of music, much of it composed by band leader and pianist Anna Lumiere. Drawing on jazz, French cabaret and Brazilian rhythms, Mimosa’s repertoire includes fast-paced sambas, moody and eclectic waltzes and swinging standards with interesting arrangements. On this occasion, Mimosa will also feature the music of some of Canada’s top jazz women, such as Jane Bunnett, Diana Krall and Elizabeth Shepherd.
