MIMOSA

Mimosa presents an inspiring set of music, much of it composed by band leader and pianist Anna Lumiere, with contributions from other band members. Drawing on jazz, French cabaret and Brazilian rhythms, Mimosa’s repertoire includes fast-paced sambas, moody and eclectic waltzes and swinging standards with interesting arrangements.  They will be performing selections from their large repertoire of original material, including recent compositions, which are about to be released on a brand-new recording on Cellar Music.
