West Coast Canadian drummer and composer Neil Gray translates the human condition through the genre closest to his heart: jazz. His music is a mixture of swinging hard bop tunes, simmering ballads, and bebop burners. He released his most recent recorded work Steppin’ Out in December 2020. The four-track EP showcases his arrangements, his depth, and his rhythm. He is joined by four heavy-hitting Vancouver- based players, including legendary jazz pianist Bruno Hubert.
