The Sharon Minemoto Quartet has been Minemoto’s main creative outlet for the past three years with the band performing her original arrangements and compositions. Her writing is of a highly melodic style coupled with fresh, innovative harmonic ideas. Minemoto’s studies with Renee Rosnes and Kenny Werner have strongly influenced the direction her writing has taken.
